That must be the record for the longest running chess website -1998 to 2021. And I never heard of it at all until today.

I suspect the record belongs to TWIC, which has just celebrated its 27th birthday. As far as I know without ever missing a week (it's on issue 1406), a remarkable achievement by Mark Crowther.

TWIC hasn't been quite every week: 1406 weeks ago only lands in November 1994, rather than September (according to a computer, I haven't calculated it manually). In the article on 1000 issues
