Sadler England's new Number 1 on Live Chess Ratings

I see that today's Live Chess Ratings shows Mickey Adams now down to 2693.5, following his loss to Gelfand yesterday. Matthew Sadler, not having played for some time, remains at 2694 and therefore is England's No 1. If Mickey were to win today, he would, presumably, go back above Matthew again.

I think Mickey will still be accepted as number 1- saddler is great when he plays but I don't think even he would consider himself the best player in the country when he achieved that rank by sitting on an inactive rating.
