I must confess, I would pay to watch 'Chessboxing with Raymond Keene'. It would be a genuine heavyweight contest.

Only one more post to go.

Perhaps a speech would be in order.

Lennox Lewis and the Klitschko Brothers know all the moves.

At the other end there are over 500 members (11 and a bit pages) who have never posted.
(my ears are suddenly burning - some of you will be thinking, I wish he (as in me) were one of the silent 500.)
Plus a significant number of posts from people who were members but aren't any more.....

Sorry to spoil the fun but Roger has already made 20005 posts. There is a software bug in the system, which gives two different totals.

I'm sure there will be a speech in the next few days.
Roger De C is currently playing in the Harrogate 4NCL Congress along with other forum stalwarts Andrew Z and Brendan O'G.

Evidence? Link?

I have a possible solution, but I would like to check the facts first.

If one looks at RDdC' user account statistics it reveals
Total posts:19999 | Search user’s posts
if one clicks "Search user’s posts" its reveals
Search found 20005 matches
I'd like to nominate EJH or possibly EMW to discover which of the 20005 are the 6 not revealed by the 19999.

That's interesting. I seem to have eight extra posts, as against RdC's six.

In cricket, there are some matches which could have been given first class status, but have not been.

I should like to suggest that only posts included in the account statistics should be regarded as First Class Posts. That way, we still await RdC's 20.000th First Class Post.

One explanation may be that there are inevitably occasions where Carl has to remove posts or delete entire threads which might explain the different tally.
