My distaste for this individual, a luminary at the St Louis Chess Club, has been well vented previously. However, I did not expect to see Jen Shahade out him as a serial predator on young female chess players.

Sounds like you'll be having the last laugh against him if all these allegations lead to a prosecution.
Was this the same reason you personally disliked him or something else?

Good enough for me if he is just discredited and loses his position at St Louis Chess Club - presumably a good one to have.

No, it was his post game interviews at the Sinquefield Cup.

My complaint is not that he is a bad commentator,* but that he abused his privileged position as an postgame interviewer for personal advancement. I knew nothing about his alleged abuse of his position as a senior chess coach in relation to young female students, but given what I already did know about his character I do not find it all that surprising.

* Which I do think he is, relying heavily on "this is a blunder, the computer says it is -1.3".

What is your point?

I can think of a certain English GM with a far worse reputation than him, I'm sure you know who I mean. Unfortunately, some of us have seen him in action firsthand on that front, and more than once or twice.
