Xiangqi On-Set Advisor - 4th November in Uxbridge
Posted: Wed Oct 30, 2024 5:02 pm
I received the following email (others may have also received this) and it seems a genuine company and request (but please do be careful as per any unsolicited emails).
To reach a larger audience I said I could post on the English Chess Forum as if you know a little about Xiangqi (I know nothing) and have a free day on Monday you may be interested? Good to see they want to ensure the board is set up correctly, as we know how much players get annoyed when this is not the case for Chess!
_______
I am working on a tv show that is shortly shooting a scene involving a game of Xiangqi. Our Production would like to source an On-Set Consultant for the set - to make sure the board is properly setup and being played correctly. Might you have any proficient members who would be interested in a paid day over at our Studios in Uxbridge? We need someone available to be here on-site on Monday 4th November.
Do not hesitate to pass my details along to anyone you think would be interested in discussing this further.
Thanks for your time.
Best,
Lucie

I presume this is ok to post on the Forums, if not please delete!
