Ben - there's also John & Chris Constable of CCFMindGames. You could ring them on 020 8144 5354 or email them using [email protected] - they do a good range of stuff - even engraving on glass if you want that sort of thing, although I doubt that's really what you want for a school competition!

I had bought trophies for many years for the Northumbria JCA through a local supplier, but a couple of years ago started using Action Trophies of Basingstoke (Who supplies the trophies for Mike Basman's UK Chess Challenge). On their website they have all the usual range of cups, shields, medals, badges etc., and also two pages of specialist chess trophies. I have found them both cheaper and prompter than any other supplier. A fortnight ago I ordered 6 trophies for a local congress in Newcastle-upon-Tyne on a Tuesday morning; they were with me by 11.00am on the wednesday morning all the way from Basingstoke. exemplary service!

I used to use them until John & Chris started doing them. Nothing against Action trophies as they were always good to me (except that they do the UK Chess Challenge stuff!!!) but I can say that John & Chris do a similar service to that which you refer.
