See attached pdf for the position from which my team mate delivered a nice mate. Clive Wismayer (183) - Stefano Bruzzi (182), Thames Valley League Div. 1, 31 March 2010, Surbiton - Staines, Bd. 3.
See if you can spot it. No cheating, mind.

The Black King needed more exercise, anyway.

Re: Nice combo
Is this an April Fools' joke; really there isn't one, but you'll get us searching for hours anyway?

Re: Nice combo
Alex - no joke - it's pretty straightforward really - White has done the hard work to arrive here. Qg8+ Kh6 Qh8+ Kg5 f4+ Kg4 h3 Black resigns is what happened. If Kxg3 Nf5+ Kxh3 Qxh5+ or if Kxh3+ Qxh5+ Kxg3 Nf5#

Re: Nice combo
Wow, I spotted that line, but I thought it didn't work. What happens if Kxg3? Edit: Oh, Qg6! Forgot about the pawn on f4 blocking the Queen.

Re: Nice combo
Hi,
I think this works as well
1. Qg6+ Kh8
2. Qxh5+ Qh6
3. Qf7 Qh7 (if Kh7 Qg8 mate)
4. Qf8 Qg8
5. Qxg8 mate
Ignore this one he has Bxe7, shouldn't really analyse whilst working
