Is anyone else being denied the ability to view the Andrew Martin commentary because "the maximum number of viewers for this channel has been reached"? I would have hoped it would be able to cater for more than 53 viewers.

Yes, I'd noticed that the quoted viewer number had gone up, but it's rather persistent in refusing to let me watch - and the same now applies to the webcam.

why did Jack resign? Was he zugzwangled? I was getting ready to congratulate him for lasting longer than Summerscale.

He said that the only moves he had without compromising his position were Ra7, Ra8 etc. So he couldn't actually do anything, and didn't want to sit there and find out. Edit: He also just said that Bh8, Bg7 were also similarly uncompromising, but didn't do anything.

He has made Hawkins think, that is why he is only an hour down on the clock :D

resignation. There is simply no move in his position, apart from (his suggestion) Ra7 or maybe Bh8

Hawkins might fancy Rxb6 and Nd5 looks pretty dangerous to me

23. Bd3! from Adam Hunt - even if it doesn't work I bet it gave Peter Wells a shock!

I think Adam has full value for the piece, 32 Rh8 33 Rh7 34 R(g)g7 will leave Wells struggling with time

Amusing end to Hawkins-Conquest. Alas not quite reaching the 15fold repetition we got in the Dutch Championship a little while ago.
