Are we a Charity, yes. We are not a sport so we need alot to help make up that gap in funding. This is a start, its as good as the online chess website, support it and be a part.

How can you say we are not a sport? Chess IS a sport. Ask the I.O.C.

I think it is, to me chess is war, but IOC call it an "associate sport", I called my friend Sports Minister Gerry Sutcliffe MP and he said it might be a sport in Europe, its just not here. He is trying to change that. Your letter to your local MP asking your MP to ask why chess is a not a sport in GB to the Sports Minister Gerry Sutcliffe MP will help loads. I've sent 10 letters each to all of Bradford's 5 MPs. match me first. Chess is a sport. Sadly we talk and do not do, and think it will happen even though we stayed at home doing nothing. Do it, pen, paper, MP and ask. Its how it happens. If every chess player did it, it would be a sport.
