Big, big thanks to Adam, for making a memorable evening for everyone at Lowestoft Chess Club. Adam played a simul, against the club members and some youngsters from other clubs.
Excellent night, would recommend Adam to any club for a simultaneous exhibition or any chess related event.

Re: Adam Hunt Evening
How did he do? Did he win many games?
Any opinions expressed will not be held to account.

He won all his games Joey, we are not very strong at Lowestoft, it was a advertising program to attract new members, but it backfired in that sense. The members had a good night though.
Think the highest grade was 147, so not too difficult for him.

Glad to hear you had a good event. Perhaps holding the simul in a public place e.g local library and advertising in the local press might attract new members.Warren Kingston wrote:He won all his games Joey, we are not very strong at Lowestoft, it was a advertising program to attract new members, but it backfired in that sense. Taking chess in the Midlands a level up!

You are right Frank, advertised in local paper and local council websites, just not that many players around. Keep plugging on though.
