Nor did Clint Eastwood.

Does it like Microsoft instead?

It's something I do quite often. I can discern at least four advantages:

1. It's helpful if I want to quote something from another thread.
2. If I'm likely to have to break off, I can quickly save what I've done.
3. I don't lose everything if there should be a technological malfunction, as does happen occasionally.
4. I can use a spell check function, which this Forum doesn't have (to the best of my knowledge).

Apologies for going off topic.
Drifting further off-topic:
1. I just open another tab in my web browser and copy and paste it in from there.
2. I use the draft function
3. If there's a technological malfunction, there's just as much chance of that software crashing as there is of Firefox crashing!
4. Firefox has one built in.

Thanks for the replies.

Each according to his or her own. If it comes down to a choice between copying and pasting from a Word Document or using Firefox,
I shall continue to do the former.

However, I must confess that I'd never noticed the "Save Draft" option. That could indeed be useful.
