The Bristol & District Chess League has 6 boards in Divisions 1 to 3 and 4 boards in Divisions 4 and 5.
Four boards in Divisions 4 and 5 works particularly well as the whole team can fit in one car for away matches, it increases the total number of teams, and there is a better chance that smaller clubs can field 4 players rather than 6.

The Stockport League has 6 boards in Divisions 1 and 2 and 5 boards in Division 3.
The Stoke League has 5 boards in Divisions 1 and 2 and 4 boards in Divisions 3 and 4.
