My girlfriend keeps decimating me at Battleships.
Does anyone have any tactical or strategical advice about how to play this game?

Hey Tom - it's difficult to see how you can keep losing - isn't this a game which is just luck and the results ought to come out somewhere around 50-50 over a period of time.
I presume you are playing a computer version so we can rule out her cheating. What's left. Maybe she can read your mind - in which case it's not just Battleships you need to worry about.
