When I dropped out of school when 16, I was hmm I think 154? Maybe in 160's. I was 2780 on Purton and Themuse on the icc. I also beat Fier?(Brazil Number 1) and drew with Cherpaniov in Dos hermandes(8 2 time control).
So I think anything is possible , just one bad result at british doesnt exempt this.
Why dont we talk about how messed up the UK Chess challange is, morally.. First of all they make alot of profit I believe. Like ALOT. Secondly they really need to actually allow some levys in qualification from school.
