Perfect Weather for an away match to Muswell Hill

Post by Paul McKeown » Mon Feb 02, 2009 9:54 am

Seriously the London League Div. 2 Fixture Athenaeum II - Beckenham (a likely promotion decider) has been postponed until April. Anyone other fixtures cancelled, postponed or expected to result in half-a-dozen defaults and a broken leg each?

School's closed today so I'm sitting at home waiting for news of tonight's Kingston A v Richmond A Thames Valley League match.

Just as I posted this an email arrived informing me that the match has been cancelled.

We have plenty and more to come tonight. I even did the unthinkable and cancelled the Training session up at the Latvian Club. This is seen as very odd as the Monday night sessions have been on since the start of 2007 and haven't missed once (not even for Bank Holidays). Luckily though the Bradford & DCA's next league match is next week, so only 20-30 individual cup matches to reschedule, I bet thats a mega headache for a Competition Controller when there aren't many hole in the year.
