Shockwave Chess

[Roger de Coverly]

This is (or was) an application that was convenient for playing "friendly" games of email chess.

Whilst a Google search today for "shockwave chess" still comes up with www.shockwave.com/gamelanding/emailchess.jsp , the actual page has disappeared.

Whilst I could believe that Shockwave might discontinue support for free email chess, you would hope that they would at least inform those with games in progress. So does anyone know whether this is cockup or conspiracy?
