John,
I don't know why your friend doesn't post his games on here himself and then we can judge for ourselves. Indeed, it is strange that no-one has chosen to do that.

Strange and also untrue, since I linked to mine.
"Do you play chess?"
"Yes, but I prefer a game with a better chance of cheating."

I also want to make very clear that going public and saying "I have been accused of cheating" is an extremely difficult thing to do. In my case it took, I think, about a month before I was ready to do so.

OK, so nobody has posted bar Justin Horton who posted about a historic banning in an extremely minority form of online chess

It wasn't historic at the time.

I should add that though I am the only person to have posted on this forum, I am not the only person to complain publicly.

The 4NCL teams that withdrew because of accusations being cases in point.

There was briefly a post which defended one of the members in one of the withdrawn teams. That didn't last very long before being deleted.

He does not use this forum and can probably see zero point in people attempting to guess if he played the moves himself.

Wasn't what I was particularly thinking of though - more the various cases which we've come across during the progress of this thread.

You've told us your friend is about 200, so why don't you post the games in an anonymized form and we can judge for ourselves.

Can I repeat this, and suggest very strongly that people take its content seriously.

Another feature that often irritates is the tendency to be told that "letting time run out rather than resigning" can lead to a temporary suspension. I have been given this reprimand several times, none of them occasions where I had deliberately let time run out, but simply had very little time left in a difficult position.
Yes I had this warning in the same situation and posted about it here a couple of months ago. As Lichess are clearly making the wrong call here on occasions, I don't have confidence that they are always making the correct call when deciding someone has been cheating.

I'm not sure I would so do either - I've made the decision to avoid being in this situation by not playing online. That means I miss out on 4NCL Online congresses and team events - which I did enjoy.

Has there been any official feedback on this season's 4NCL?

I am told there's been another ban
