computers today look 20 plies and can look that far in seconds- you have to a) have been playing things like fritz 5 at the time and b)have a good memory to remember when computers looked only 6 plies in 2 seconds, like i have re-iterated many times is the result of a computer could very well have got 11-1 against nigel but no way in a million years of monkeys using typewriters will you convince me only a computer made those moves which i will give a game of them below- and if a human did some moves as expressed by anyone talking sense who knows whats capable then for a start it holes in the water the theory of just an operator and how did the bobby fisher person decide when to play and when to allow the computer-plus the fact i remember making the moves played.

this is one of the suggested games see how the play is balanced between strategy and tactics which fritz 5 running at any speed would nt be

one thing that i might have remembered now is that the game was on my 30th birthday the exact day, The mention of a surprise by her could well have been a birthday present for me ie to play nigel.

Just to confirm that the above game is very real, and I saw it unfold myself.

Not just that, but 18 Qd4! might well have won the league title for Barrow.
Fulmar off ICC, Matt above was referencing te game between myself and gary sharkey not the presumed bobby games as being genuine, i mention matt in the thread below the game and because it was spectacular i thought people might think it was faked so i mentioned matt them personally messaged him to ask if e could confirm it on the thread.

I hope that explains the situation and you understand it. Matt wasnt involved i dont think in the nigel short match so i presume has no way of knowing wether i am confused or just speak the truth (or indeed whether i am a cheat)

this is another example of how small my errors are against 1700s to lose most of my games against them. Is it just me gary sharkey is a 17 hundred too, why are they so hard for me to beat-its a mystery. Sure i make a schoolboy error allowing my Kings fianchettoed Bishop to go but he plays the game flawlessly almost.

These are not imaginary games against imaginary opponents matt mackenzie can vouch for the george glover game again he saw that happen too, but this above game vs the handle krankenstein happened today in an icc online 45 10 tourney, under pressure he goes to pieces-its still in my history for the moment on icc. in the game if 22.Bxg3 then 22...Bxe4

Keith Arkell will tell you I beat him on the ICC in 2012, there is no confirmation on the icc, my handle then was cap78red and the results are missing from 2011-2013 rather suspiciously. but we talked at the north shields british championship in 2012 just after the game.

also Adam Raoof will confirm i drew against a russian gm in blitz on one of his zoom blitz events in 2021.

This is a game from 1998 around about that time on the machines which were available note as it looked only 8 moves ahead and had little strategy it runs out of ideas and only catches me out with a tactical exchange it calculates. Also not unless you have the engines from the time running on the tech available at the time(this was on a 1000 pound PC from 1996, then you will have the engines playing like modern engines when they were nothing like at the time.

I entered "mission impossible game of chess" in youtube and towards the end of the results were a load of videos some millions viewed of this event mentioned. ie the so called Fischer Short match

I bare no connection with Bobby Fischer- i am not trying to insinuate i am the real Bobby Fischer, i am not wired up with a relay to his play, i am not Bobby in disguise, i apologize to Bobby (if still alive) for mixing up Nigel and i apologize to Nigel for what happened.
