No thank you. I just said that the same thing happened in the MS browser which has no history or cookies as I didn't use it previously.

This is evidently a problem with the website that developed very recently as there was no problem yesterday.

Mmm. Am taking advice. Had an odd experience myself this morning, being denied access to Wikipedia pages which I had been looking at the night before!

Good luck then to you both.

The plot thickens...

Maybe, but to my knowledge the only things that's different about the site today is that it has a new post on it, and that shouldn't affect anything.

Is anybody else operating Bullguard software and can report either similar problems or their absence?

Another possibility occurs to me. Bullguard updates itself regularly and maybe as a result of an overnight update it spotted something previously there but not noticed.

This struck me as the most likely possibility. It might be worth checking online documentation of recent changes to help try and track down the problem.

That's possible of course, but presumably other Bullguard users will have had the same updates?

Looking at what uBlock Origin blocks on the S&B blog, one domain stands out: extreme-dm.com. If I attempt to visit that domain directly the entire website is blocked. As far as I can tell, it's a tracking site, so there may be ads that appear on the blog that use the extreme-dm.com tracker. I'll speculate that this is what Bullguard is objecting to.

That's very odd. That's been on the site pretty much from the beginning.

As I said that extension has my recommendation.

We don’t have adverts on the blog. Never have.

There is a link to extreme tracker for anybody to be able to view our stats should they wish to. As Justin says, though, that’s been on the site from the beginning.

In that case it's possible that the tracker has just been added to the Bullguard block list.

Whatever you did seems to have worked as Bullguard allows me to look at the blog this afternoon.

Hurrah! Let us know if it goes wrong in the future.
