Many players in Iran play in parks.David Blower wrote:The question is not as daft as it seems!
But what in your opinion, separates a chess club, opposed to just a bunch of random people meeting to play chess. Hopefully I have explained the concept clearly enough, but if for instance I was to bring a chess set with me to a local pub and randomly played a member of the public, to me that does not constitute a chess club.
Hopefully I have explained what I mean well enough in this post, so what makes up a chess club?
You can play without having a chess club.
You cannot pay membership fee without a chess club, unless you appoint some money-collector.
You don't have the warmness of a chess club in Parks, unless you caarry with yourself blankets, heaters, etc.
You might be playing in the Park and have the hand of a stranger in your board.
And even if you wins omeone, there is no one to keep score in the park.
