I've tried this in Google translate but it doesn't recognise the home language.

Is there any way to follow the playoff games that actually works?

I use a couple of Slack channels, but looks like you need an invite for ecforum.slack.com?

Yes probably best yell if anyone wants one but has to be related to the member email address they use here is perhaps the right plan.

Aren't there two games going on? This is hopeless.

There's a toggle for which one you want to see at the bottom?

Thanks, I expect I was being dim.

You wouldn't want to defend this against Luke with the two bishops. I'm not good enough to understand why, you just wouldn't.

Definitely :)

Somehow can't quite believe Howell should have got away with the other game, but onwards....

When Gawain Jones had a huge think and chickened out with Qe7 the win was probably gone?
Engines were screaming for the immediate c4-c5! Qxb4, c5-c6. Would that actually have won? It certainly looked like it.

I didn't see much of the other game but McShane seemed a bit better until he got his B trapped on e1, and then he played ...Nxc4? when presumably Bxa4 would have drawn?

Here we go again, A-R-M-A-G-E-D-D-O-N. Place your bets now.
