Kasparov - Karpov Rapid Match

Post by David Lettington » Thu Jul 09, 2009 11:17 am

Has anyone else noticed the TWIC website which states that Kasparov and Karpov are due to play a 4 game rapid match in September, with 8 blitz games to follow?

This would be an excellent event for TV coverage that might grab wider public attention, assuming it goes ahead.

I'm quite excited already, it's a shame I can't get to Valencia in September!
