A Google search for the above finds yorkshirechess.org along with a message from easyspace.com that
yorkshirechess.org has expired
Has it moved?

Hopefully a temporary blip. We have been promised to have it back online this time tomorrow.

Thanks for noticing though.

Its been struggling a bit for content/updates for a few months now to be honest. Good to hear that it should be back :)

There were definitely some interesting things in the first round of Yorkshire league matches - Leeds (CCCC) seem to be making a vastly more serious attempt on the title than the city has managed for quite a while, and even managed to gently out rate (YCA wise anyway) Sheffield A in their head to head match(!). Sheffield A still won quite handily mind - they really are very, very tough.

The people who gave up their time to make the site what it was have had to prioritise other things and new volunteers are failing to come forward, as usual.

Huddersfield had a good team in their opening matches and may be a dark horse for this year.

Somebody let the domain expire which was a bit careless.

I'm to blame for the domain expiring.

Terrible luck :( These things do happen!

Huddersfield have had a good team for a few years really, but they're much more realistically in a hard struggle for fourth than a prospect of winning the thing.

York/Leeds/Sheffield are all seemingly due to be running around 185-190ish, with York's paper maximum strength being truly silly just now (5 players over 210 ECF for goodness sake!) but perhaps not such a relevant consideration.

Huddersfield/Calderdale/Hull and Bradford are all going to be around ~170-175 (180) and well capable of nasty 'surprises'.
