Seems strange that SPOTY went for Yuri & not Korchnoi or Taimanov.
Other than Yuri was a former world junior champion.
Journalism at BBC not as good as it used to be.

With Brexit we may not want to use European rulings - but I cannot see this one changing soon as a sport.
Even so for some of us that will be good - many of my drugs are banned. Will need some other help in near future.

Testing in chess is just a charade to tick boxes. In any case, be a cyclist, and get a therapeutic usage exemption.

Is cycling the only sport that is able to command "therapeutic usage exemption" ?

Every sport can and probably does use it. Cycling had been in the news in that context.
