Actually that could easily be right.

Well, I decided to come and read the forum and it looks like they made some quick exchanges that the sensory boards failed to pick up. Anyway, I have got it back up to date, so it will appear soon.

All boards are on 5 min delay by the way.

I think Hebden's blown it at the death.

Yeah, 37... Rh5 38. Rb1 were both blunders according to Fritz.

It doesn't seem to have updated from Hebden's 39th but it's highly unlikely Howell would have played ...Bd6 if he hadn't seen the winning tactics behind it.

Difference is, though, Black was already losing: whereas White's blunder lost him a totally won game.

What a tragedy.

Indeed. 38. Rd1 would have put him +3.06, apparently. Must have been caused by time trouble, both players were struggling to make the time control.

Seems to be much better today. I've missed a load but the names seemed to be in the right places at the start though.

Main problem I've observed ... trying to follow Arkell's game and the board keeps showing moves then taking them back.

Otherwise ... big improvement on yesterday.

Yes. Williams has 1 hour on his clock, but hasn't made 40 moves yet, so I would say white has won on time.

I suspect, without knowing, that they're still going and the moves are being reconstructed for the transmission.
