4-player chess
Hi. What are the best colours for cc a 4-player chess set?

The usual rule is that the four colours should be very easily distinguishable. (So don't do what my Settlers of Catan set does, and have red and orange pieces of difficult-to-distinguish shades.)

My choice I think would be the usual black and "white" (i.e. natural wood or cream plastic), along with mid-green and light brown. Plus pale and mid-brown for the board. Easier on the eye than the more strident hues.
