It's seems to me discussion of the court case and Nigels involvement is irrelevant. He's been elected as FIDE rep by those who are fully aware of what took place or not as the case may be. There's no turning the clock back so maybe we should just let Mr Short get on with the job for another year. A number of those who were party to the ECF involvment in that case are no longer ECF officials(thankfully).
I have growing confidence that those in a position to do so will ensure the ECf finances are correctly managed and made public at the appropriate time.

Seriously, though, the ECF ought to be making itself look competent and properly run even to people, like me, who aren't that interested and don't really have any idea. At the moment, trust me, it isn't doing that.
