This will be my last post on this Forum if my posts are to be taken down.

As I suspect it will not be reinstated I will get back to running my organisation.

Farewell Chess friends and remember Cheaters NEVER prosper.

Sniper out.
Enjoy your night mate.

I have Put on this forum questions to Charlie and he has answer none of these Questions.
if he want to PM me that is not a problem, but in my eyes, Lorin was wrong but Charlie Comments was in view out of order and if i every seen him, i am more then happy to explain it to him, as we all do this in the heat of the moment, but i don't think that Lorin was a cheat, but i did think some of his comment was wrong and thanks you Jack for the removed of it

You can read it at StoreySniper.com forum in the Monthly Update.
That appears to cost £19.99 pm.
you can get the WWE Network for the grand sum of £9.99

£19.99 per month gets you Silver membership on the Sniper site. It's £29.99 for Gold.

Perhaps more relevant is that it costs more for a month on this site than it does for a whole year of access to ChessPublishing.com, and, annually, more than double the cost of ChessBase Magazine. It's perhaps not surprising, that, as of yesterday, Charlie's site was saying it had only sold 2 memberships.

Am I the only person that finds it irresponsible that English chess has engaged with someone using the word Sniper for teaching chess to young people?

That is with stop and search being implemented with weapons, drugs and mobiles that film crimes being confiscated and extend these powers into schools and public places. Just one of the ideas coming out in my work environment.

Should we ban the Kalashnikov Variation of the Sicilian Defence?

Banning snipers would create an existential problem for this forum.

Maybe we should ban teaching children to "capture" pieces, which is tantamount to holding them against their will. Otherwise we'll have a generation of children who grow up keeping others hostage, which must surely be a human rights violation?

Given my results with it when I played it briefly ... what a good idea!

Appalling that anyone should use military terminology when talking about a war game.

Some kids in London gangs already know how to capture and hold hostages.

The site describes Charlie as having a poor memory so he uses memory techniques to get over this issue. One of the ways that apparently has proven effective is to use military terms and metaphors which are easier to remember. He also names football teams after his variations in the Sniper such as Man U, Man City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Newcastle etc which again are easier to remember than random naming. Indeed he goes one step further and tries to get the team to match the variation based on the way the team played in the 2015/16 season. For example 1 e4 g6 2 d4 Bg7 3 c3 is the Newcastle variation because they played with no ambition and in fact got relegated in that season.

This may explain why he can identify so few of his Open victories
