Perhaps Conquest is Ivanisevic?
Hodgson as Sampras?!

Luke would be Lendl. Hebden and Henman go quite well together.

Good question !
John not very sensible to advertise dates of birth.
I've passed your advice on to
Jimmy Wales

Bit concerned about mixing eras. In the 1980s, Chandler at the British was very much the equivalent of Lendl at Wimbledon

I note that in the Championship is entered Khan Tito whose FIDE title is AIM meaning Arena International Master.
Is this the first time a FIDE Arena title has featured in the Championship itself ?

Plenty of fun pairings. Simon Williams get a rematch with John Merriman, who beat him last time he played the British. U13 Jacob Yoon has Malcolm Pein.

While we are waiting for Jonathan to come up with some sort of predictions game, I'll get in first with a very bland set:
Champion: Howell, given Adams has been quite inactive and the big rating gap to everyone else.
Women's Champion: Houska, probably by at least a full point
U21: Wadsworth, I might be seriously considering Taylor too, if I wasn't biased
Dark horse to win: Gordon, because he seems to have been the most active of the strong amateur GMs this summer

FM Adam Ashton is playing well enough to mix it with the good IM's in the field and will probably get rewarded with a high finishing position.

I'd like to see Adam get an IM norm
I hope Keith does well too, but good luck to all the players

It would also be the title
