I was reminded of Talking Heads by an earlier post.

On the specific point, the regulations are prescriptive and so it is correct that the Board did not have an alternative option.

More generally, if anybody wants to raise a matter with the Governance Committee, this should be done by approaching the Committee directly in writing. In this case, this has already been done and the matter is under active consideration.

I see that thirty minutes later you answered your own question at viewtopic.php?f=2&t=10293.

There does not to appear to have been any discussion of the issue raised by the thread starter.

The discussion was wider than the minute suggests but no conclusion was reached.
