I'm still waiting to hear from a few others and many have expressed an interest so we should be in for a reasonably good event.
The addition of McShane would make it more interesting of course?

Luke has another commitment so doesn't know if he's playing yet. On the plus side, Stephen Gordon has joined out motley crew!

This is an immense effort at a premium field CJ, once you've got McShane you could try the true Houdini and get both Hodgson and Sadler out of retirement :-)

I would die happy if I beat Wood Green in the Eastman Cup final - Richmond LL captain.

I did try for Matthew!

Stuart Conquest has now joined the illustrious field though

Not strictly related but an interesting timing...

The day before the opening of the British Champs on 24th July, I'll be giving my last performance in Godspell at the Curtain Theatre, Rochdale. If you're up anyway, perhaps you'd like to pop along?

Maybe this should be plugged on the tournament website nearer the event? After all, it's local(ish) to Sheffield, and CJ has got a lot of money into the British this year...

Local?? It's an hour and a half in a car and two hours by train (almost the same time as Sheffield - London)!!.

Oh. I thought Rochdale was more Yorkshire than Lancashire. Fair enough.

Ah! You're right, I was. If I attend Sheffield 2011, and arrive late, you'll know why.

That is your opinion and you are entitled to it.

Personally speaking - luddite I might be but I much prefer the style of Chris Ward
