During an idle moment I encountered an image (from http://www.wharf.co.uk/2008/04/) of the new ECF Director of Marketing and here it is:

White has played 1. e4 and 2. Ke2 is apparently on the cards as a follow-up.

Curiously a Black piece appears to lurking on h5...

Anyone able to work out what is happening in this position?

A) White is poised for a winning K march

B) the position is completely unbalanced: the other player is Charles W Wood

C) White will resign long before the first time control
