Of course, it might be that SG is using a most subtle form of irony that we have yet to detect.

After all,
He graduated from Keble College, Oxford in Philosophy, Politics and Economics in 1982
according to Wikipedia.

"Fair use" has always included being able to quote material for review purposes. But then fair use also includes parodies, including modified photographs - fifty years of Private Eye covers for example.
