I love going to the commentary room and listening to Andrew and Ravi. Both engage the audience well and it's always a joy when we get the move 'Bish Gee-Fye'.

Last year's commentary was really enhanced by Bogdan Lalic who regularly occupied a seat on the front row and chipped in with some great stuff.

Surely it would be news if there was no murder in such a series? In fact there were three in that episode.
In its genre, it was very good. I am undecided as to whether it is a good advertisement to play in the British.

Malcolm Pryce wrote a series of crime detective books about Aberystwyth.

Is there still a cable car in Aberystwyth?

Justin - do you by any chance mean the Aberystwyth Cliff Railway - see http://www.aberystwythcliffrailway.co.uk/. This was described on Trip Advisor as "A cable car with no pull".

All it is, is that I have a childhood memory of having been on holiday in the area and for some reason or another I made us late for the cable car, which as a result we missed, much grieving and assignation of blame resulting. For all I know, I'm imagining it though.

Does anyone know exactly where the tournaments will be held on campus? Is it very far from the university accommodation i.e. is it in walking distance?

The cable car still exists. I hope there will be chess played on it, similar to the Big Wheel in Torquay last year.

I am sure you can find about the campus online. But I've never come across one so spread out that everything wasn't within walking distance.

That depends on who's doing the walking. For instance, someone who would grieve about missing a cable car might not agree with you.

I've looked online but it doesn't say where exactly the chess is being held so hard to work it out. Also a member who went to Aberystwyth University seemed to think it was a fair step.

I understand the main activity is planned for the "MedRus" Conference Centre marked as "Penbryn" on the map here:

Depending on the number of entrants, competitions and activities could expand into the Students Union and International Politics Building. They all seem to be within a few hundred yards of each other.
