I'll be there, and will try to report where possible. Other sources would also be useful, for the sake of completion.

I will see what I can do. As I have already reported on the ECF Forum, the Board will be proposing to Council that next year's meetings are held on 18 April in Birmingham (Finance) and 17 October in London (AGM).

Are Dominic Lawson and None of the Above in attendance?

I assume DL is flanked by members of the S&B blog collective eager to collect an autograph.

Julie Denning was confirmed as chairman and Chris Majer and Andrew Leadbetter appointed as tellers. Through minutes and matters arising in good time. Phil Ehr has just mentioned as part of his report that the Office will remain in Battle for the foreseeable future and not be relocated. Comments are currently being made about the non-appearance of the minutes of certain Board meetings.

I am not surprised there is still a snapshot for June 12th?

One set of minutes was approved by the Board this morning, and there is a cunning plan in place for individual directors to take responsibility for getting the others over the finishing line.

Bob Kane's comment that the "ECF Forum is interactive" when answering why official stuff went their first (rather than on the official website) raised significant laughter!

Phil Ehr blamed 'other forums which have the veneer of officialdom' as one of the reasons for the failure of the ECF Forum!

Executive directors' reports all accepted on a show of hands, a couple with one vote against. We are now onto NEDs' reports, where there is going to be a verbal report by Sean Hewitt. There is now a procedural question as to the order in which the NEDs' reports should be taken. After some discussion, the agenda running order (Clissold, French, Hewitt) is being adhered to.

Both comments are nonsense so no wonder there was some amusement.

You must have been expecting something more controversial than that!

Sean spoke quite briefly, commenting on the Paulson Presidency, the ongoing issue with the minutes and the circumstances surrounding his resignation. His report was approved nem con, as were those of the other NEDs.

Julian Clissold had one against.
