Assuming you mean a particular blog I can hazard a guess. Seeking attention without regard to the damage done to anything or anyone. As usual.

No he doesn't - "other place" has a specific meaning on this site (ie a certain other forum that is notably quiet much of the time)

The most recent postings were not about the appointment of the new Grand Prix controller, but whether in the Grand Prix listings there was a facility to avoid being outed as a frequent and successful tournament player.

You can do this by not becoming an ECF member, but that becomes expensive.

We could of course ask Greyknight for his thoughts as their latest member?

I hope you're not casting any aspersions on my old mate Reggie Greyknight.

They may get registration over there before it closes I suppose.

I am trying to register over there again even though I said I would not in order to discuss some of the finer points and suggestions raised at the meeting in question, let me see if I can get on.

Latest ECF Board minutes refer.
http://www.englishchess.org.uk/wp-conte ... ersion.pdf

The paper and each recommendation therein was discussed.
a)
The Board agreed to the closure of the Forum, subject to the successful implementation of the initiatives at b & c.
b)
The Board agreed to the implementation of a “Questions For Directors” facility on the
website.
c)
The Board agreed to the instigation of an all member monthly email, providing news and updates on matter that may be of interest to our members. The first would be before
the end of March.

So they are going to close it. Would it be permissible for copies to be archived somewhere?

Given that certain people openly stated that the aim was for the "other place" to make this forum redundant, that is pretty humiliating no?

Paul Cooksey had some good points we will miss his feedback both there and here.

Chris Fegan can be very annoying but also has points to make.
