When will the shirts, hoodies, caps and branded vacuum mugs go on sale?
Bad news - Michael Farthing is in charge of the shirts.

You may need to paste these links into your browser if you're at all interested ...
I have tried. They don't work for me.

I found that when I clicked on the link I get a '404' error message but reloading the page then solved the problem

For me, clicking also doesn't work, and reloading didn't help either. I had to right-click and 'copy link' and paste the link into a browser. It then worked. The differences are interesting. Can you remember roughly which year that change took place, Andrew?

From the older to the old? Roughly October 2015 when Phil Ehr was bid farewell ...

Thanks Neill and Andrew. I now have both versions duly saved.

Thanks to Michael for explaining that the squares are columns d to h and rows 6 to 8 (thus they should always appear right justified on a page) but does anyone have an explanation of the disposition of the red squares?

I have decided that I rather like the new logo (even the still slightly mysterious squares), so congratulations to Mark and those who approved it.

Mark, I never did get a reply to my question as to whether the other logos were included in the planned "rebranding" or not .

If not included then its just a new logo and the start of brand confusion

   Ok Michael I think you ought to get onto the shirts Bronze Silver Gold Platinum Members and ECF to add shirt size to their next membership list update.

My chess colleagues appear to have got a bit larger over one season or have I shrunk? :D :D :D

Hi Bob
I hope you are keeping well and thanks for your comments. I was away last week so forgive the delay in getting back. The rebranding will be rolled out for each section that needs it. So we started with the main logo and that is now on the website masthead and will be used for pens, T-shirts etc as and when they need ordering. We have also incorporated the new logo into one for the British Championships but not in time for this year's event, and we have done a variation on the new logo for the Academy.
Regarding the old logos, we will be easing these out of circulation once the new variations will be starting to be used.
All the new variations will be available for any stakeholder than needs them for print and branding collateral and if you need help preparing a design with the logo, we can do this. Please call me if you would like to discuss further, I can give you my details if you email me ([email protected])
I hope this is of help.
Best wishes
Mark
