Yes, all credit to the young player, for winning well against a very tough defender, but I do think that Jovanka rather gifted the point with her extravagant Bxh4??

For the millionth time, it is the spirit of fun, not really a competition to be "right" ... and the fact that Adams is not in his most dominating form adds to the enjoyment, if you guess right!

Well, I predicted Adams before the tournament began, and on 2/2 he is still well placed. Of the leading players, McShane has dropped a point, and any of them could come unstuck in their individual games against Adams, whereas it is rare to see Adams lose against players outside the world elite.
As ever, it will be interesting to see which of the players just outside the favourites (say, the Olympiad team) make a breakthrough. My money would be on Adair or Fernandez to run the leaders close.

I think the removal of the tail makes a submarine run somewhat less likely(in the sense of somebody sneaking into a playoff without having to meet m(any) of the other leaders - as very nearly happened last year). On the other hand i don't think it is completely out of the question that 6.5 is a winning score. I think a score of 7 will win outright.
