Hi,
We have a 5½ inch trophy at the Edinburgh Club with this engraved on it;
Can anyone help in getting this to the rightful owner. I've asked Alex Mac. but he does not know the lad.

The CSSC makes me wonder if you should contact Ihor Lewyk, as I think the Civil Service Sports Council chess event moved to Edinburgh when he was running it...
The arbiter usually got a trophy as a thank you.

Thanks Kevin.
The Civil Service Sports Council. Yes. I was going along the lines of Chess Scotland Sports Council. I have sent a PM to Ihor.
The job of logging everything the Edinburgh Club has has nearly been completed. We keep finding wee treasures or odd items. A sale is planned for July/August of books (100's) magazines (1,000's) sets, boards (wooden/folding), clocks (digital and wind up)...
(I say 'We' in fact I've had little to do with it compared to the team who have been on this for four years. )
