ARB Thomas -v- PH Clarke, Chester, British 1952. Again, how many moves?
22. "Q.G,. Tschigorin's Defence." [Source: Chess, Vol. 18, page 58 (December 1952)]
It is given as Clarke -v- Thomas. They played in Round 10 and was [if my source is accurate] part of a sequence of three Whites for Clarke in Rounds 9-11. His Round 11 opponent, Oakley, also had White in Rounds 9 and 10. For corroboration of the colour designation given in Chess, I found 3 games of ARB Thomas playing Black with the Chigorin Defence in Bigbase but none by Clarke.
