Missing game scores

Post by Dr Adrian Harvey » Sat Jan 30, 2010 7:39 pm

Sorry, I like Olympiads and am trying to obtain the scores of the chess games by the England men's team in the following matches:

They are all from the 1974 Nice Olympiad

the games by Keene, Whiteley and Stean against Ecuador

The games by Hartston, Whiteley and Stean against Rhodesia

The games by Hartston, Keene, Whiteley and Stean against Denmark

Stean - Piasetski (Canada)

If any one is interested I have the scores of two games by the England players that are not available in the Olympiad bulletins:

Kuczynski - Speelman 1986 (match v Poland). This was obtained for me by the editor of Kaissiber, Stefan Bucker.

Mortensen- Adams (Denmark - England 1994) The score in the bulletin breaks off early and is a nonsense. I sent a SAE with request for information to Michael Adams, who was kind enough to reply. I was very pleased with this for it certainly shows that success has not meant that he regards himself as being above mere mortals.

I have sent the enclosed to the history section because it seemed the most plausible domain for such a request. If it belongs elsewhere I would welcome advice.
