Early 4NCL history (before 2001-2)

Does anyone know where the early 4NCL history resides?

The results, the cross-tables, the team compositions, the photographs, the games?

Do these all only reside in chess magazine reports, or are they out there but not online?

Am asking because unless I am missing something, the current 4NCL website archive only goes back to the 2001-2 season:

https://www.4ncl.co.uk/pre2010/0102_index.htm

The site index helps with finding cross-tables for earlier seasons:

https://www.4ncl.co.uk/pre2010/99-00.htm

Site index:

https://www.4ncl.co.uk/pre2010/site_index.htm

Downloads:

https://www.4ncl.co.uk/pre2010/downloads.htm

That has game PGNs going back to the 1996-7 season (the fourth season).

https://www.4ncl.co.uk/pre2010/growth.htm
Since it started in 1993, the 4NCL has seen spectacular growth. The figures below show how the league has developed.
Are the game and records available for the first three seasons?

First three seasons' cross-tables available:

https://www.4ncl.co.uk/pre2010/93-94.htm

https://www.4ncl.co.uk/pre2010/94-95.htm

https://www.4ncl.co.uk/pre2010/95-96.htm

But it seems games from the first three seasons are missing?

What would be the easiest way to get a complete listing of all the norms made over the years? Presumably mostly noted in the end of season news items and reports?

https://www.olimpbase.org/index.php has a 4NCL page with details from the first season. Not looked in great detail, but certainly has the standings and match results.

Thank you, Graham!

Sadler, Emms, Ward (and McDonald) still IMs.

As the 4NCL grew, the opportunity for GM norms presumably grew (IM norms would have been easier to obtain). I have to stop this latest round of digging through old records soon, but maybe somewhere someone has an easily accessible listing of norms achieved at the 4NCL. Hopefully no harder than looking up the end of season reports over the years (if those are all online).

It doesn't have full names although there should be enough people around who can remember who was in which team and when. The otherwise missing first 3 seasons are there.

Though OlimpBase disappeared for a long while. That site and BritBase are irreplaceable.

Chris,

You can-NOT be serious! Have you heard of a website called BritBase? Look at the list of 1990s events, they are all there.

The PGNs don't seem to be there? Sorry, I am probably on the wrong BritBase page...

For heaven's sake... the 1990s page, and now search for 4NCL

Apologies, John. They are mostly there.

When I went to find the 1999-2000 page, there was nothing there:

https://www.saund.org.uk/britbase/brit2000.htm
4NCL, Div 1, 1999/2000 2000.05 (528) 2000.05.11
I did get the games for the 1999-2000 season, but from here:

https://www.4ncl.co.uk/pre2010/downloads.htm

Hope that makes it clearer where I failed to find things and where I did find them.
