Jorge Albrete Lobo

Post by JustinHorton » Tue Jul 07, 2015 6:15 pm

According to the Chessgames.com page on the 1957 World Junior Championship:
The Mexican representative, Jorge Aldrete Lobo, had just learned the game in 1953, but had won the Mexican Junior Championship in 1955 and 1957.
That's pretty good going, if it's so. (Reckons 1954 here, mind.) Anybody know anything further about Sr Aldrete?
"Do you play chess?"
"Yes, but I prefer a game with a better chance of cheating."
