I was wondering if any of you guys going through Victorian and Edwadian
tournaments and games had ever come across the name of Richard Jordan
whilst examining the old chess columns from that era.
He was Draughts world champion when he passed in Edinburgh are being hit by tram.
He was also a chess player playing for the Edinburgh Working Men's Club.
I found his name a few times in the BCM but no games.
