During lockdown I used chessX for teaching my club's junior section on zoom. It was perfect for this because it was quite intuitive to use and easy to hide the notation and you could play students' suggested moves and then move back to the original position easily. I just put positions and games into a pgn file. I didn't use the wider database functions but for my rather limited requirements it was excellent.
