Falling into the Nxf5 trick at move 37 is presumably best avoided. Not Rd8-g8 but something that moves the Rook from b6 instead. Rb6-b8 would allow Nc6 but you do have Rd8xd1.

Thanks.
How could I improve on this one?

What were you thinking before you threw it all away with 21... Nxh2??

Instead, anyone can see, 21... Nxe3 would have been the "grist to your mill".

If he didn't have Ne4, I would get a very strong attack, based on the pin, with the help from my Bishop and rook
And what would 21...Nxe3 do for me?

When sacrificing a piece is incorrect, any other forcing move is OK. You reduce your opponent's control of dark squares and gain time to recapture on d5.
White's reply is forced, given that Rxe3 allows Bxd4
