Here is my favourite video.

Playing Garry Kasparovs former trainer GM Zurab Azmaiparasvilli in a Bullet Game - He is one of the greatest Bullet Players in the World. Looking on is the Greatest Chess Trainer in the World GM / FST Adrian Mihalcisin and one of the best arbiters in the World Sainabayer.

This video shows how chess is played against fellow Coaches who love chess and the amazing sprit that it is played in. Who won you can work that out for yourself but if you look closely you will see I played The Sniper.

GM Adrian Mihalcisin is our Syllabus development Consultant and will be honorary Coach at some of our planned events next year. https://netorgft2837877-my.sharepoint.c ... Q?e=v436F5

Enjoy this video and if you have a reasonable chess skillset consider becoming our:
Great Britain Junior Squad - Partnered with Chessbase Official Partner.

I assure you, if they are idiots they will not be allowed to partner with this organisation, however much money they offer.
Fair enough.

We are looking for the following to accelerate our Great Britain Junior Squad Chess Team GB development:

Chess Team GB Benevolent /Philanthropic contributor - you decide how we spend your support and we set it up legally so your instructions are followed to the letter.
Chess Team GB Wills and Probate - you decide how we spend your support and we set it up legally so your instructions are followed to the letter.

Percentage owners of our Company Chess Team GB Ltd - Up to 50 Percent available - I have 30 % and will eventually offer my 30 % to ECF if Benevolent / Philanthropic contributor / Wills and Probate allow this.

Please contact me in strict confidence to discuss the above [email protected]

Lets make this the greatest Junior chess organisation Great Britain has ever had. With your support it will happen.

So let's discuss one or two issues that this raises.

1. Are you making it clear to people that your "Great Britain Junior Squad" is in no way an official representative squad?

2. Do you have any concerns about using the term "Team GB", given that this phrase is somebody else's trademark?
"Do you play chess?"
"Yes, but I prefer a game with a better chance of cheating."

Lets make this the greatest Junior chess organisation Great Britain has ever had.
As far as I'm aware it will be the first junior chess organisation that Great Britain has every had. Previous and existing organisations confine themselves to a single FIDE federation's geographic area, or parts of it.

It's not clear to me what your target catchment area is. Whilst it's called "Great Britain", you appear to be seeking local organisers in Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man, none of which are in Great Britain. Could you clarify this?

I doubt the ECF would consider it appropriate to take it over if it operates in areas outside its jurisdiction from a FIDE federation point of view.

Every time I won a CS event, I considered myself the best player in the CS, even though some guy working in the Benbecula hospital was unable to compete in the event...
Is that a reference to this from 2007?

https://www.scotsman.com/lifestyle-2-15 ... -1-1426676

"MUNROE MORRISON struggled to find chess opponents after he was posted to the RAF radar station on Benbecula, in the Outer Hebrides. Earlier this month he organised a four- player double- round invitation event on the island. It was sponsored by QinetiQ, the defence technology firm which has a base on Benbecula. [...] The event was won by Andy Hammond of HQ Air Command at RAF High Wycombe. Hammond has been the Combined Services champion for 15 of the last 16 years. Andy Hammond ( 2205) 5/ 6, Kevin Thurlow ( 2091) 3.5/ 6, Alex Toll ( 2102) 2.5/ 6, Munroe Morrison ( 1605) 1/ 6."

I don't know if it's my browser causing a problem, but your logo appears to be covering the text on lines 121-128 of your spreadsheet. You might want to fix that.

(Also, *paying* £100/year to be a GM norm events organizer? How on earth is that role supposed to make money?)

Browser related by the look of it - it's OK with Firefox 60.6.2esr, but exhibits the problem you describe with Internet Explorer 11.0.120. (It's OK in the spreadsheet itself if I download it.)

We will be organizing Strong Open / Closed events that have many GMs in with large prize money, sponsorship, grants running parallel to our World Tour events - it will be down to the GM Norm organiser to make these events viable business with our Branding and team support and mutual hotel deals to reduce overall costs.

This is nice as the Junior events get to see The Masters in action. Grab an Oar?

The £100 fee helps to weed out those that do not have belief in themselves which would be wasted energy for both entities.
As our official partners need a certain amount of entrepreneur skill but wish some scaffolding / support from us.

"Is that a reference to this from 2007?"

Well spotted! Whilst I relaxed in the bar one evening, the others played 5-a-side football, and Andy Hammond damaged his leg. He was both surprised and relieved to discover that not only did Benbecula have a hospital, it was a very good one, with brand new scanning equipment, which the staff were delighted to use on a real patient.

This has been compiled at the request of Justin Horton and Roger de Coverly as they attempted to ridicule my Chess slogan of having Won 168 Opens, they were correct – it was more!

To clarify here is a short video to help with clarification of the definition of an Open as determined by the constituent units of ECF / BCF.

I'm very pleased to see the inclusion of internet blitz, allowing me to say - really, only 188?

More seriously I hope Charlie is successful. I wish he hadn't felt the need to criticise so many people who are probably doing their best in good faith. But I believe some latitude is in order when someone loses their job.

I cannot imagine the ECF will endorse an academy with this name though, and it does seem from the FIDE website that a nation federation does need to support the application.

I think you will find that it was I that was criticised, many times I simply defended myself with a small counter attack.

I teach students how to deal with trolls and cyber cowards, this is an ideal thread to show how to deal with them effectively.
