Anyway, it must be clear by now that 168 is a made-up figure, whatever definitions we may or may not be working to, because if it were otherwise, there would already be a list that could be reproduced, and none of this frantic searching round for links.

The real figure could be less. Or for that matter, it could more. But Charlie doesn't know what it is.

You can find all of the links above your primitive derogatory comment "Nor us, Charlie, nor us". on that website page - It is not allowing me to copy them directly - Well worth a read

Its not a made up figure I did this research about 7 years ago got the save point and counted from there - Once again Justin Horton your assumption is incorrect. its getting to the point where I may have to stop responding to your questions and statements.

lets have a Tally how many Open victories do we have proof of?

Here is where I defeated GM Jones in a British Championship Weekend Rapidplay Open event

How many are we up to Justin Horton - Lets get a save point and continue tomorrow - or have I proved to you the inevitable yet?

I can see where they are, Charlie (unlike the 112 counties business) but I don't propose to go through all those links when you don't even claim to have won all of them. You made the claim - you provide the evidence.

That is a broken link. It does not display what you are trying to display, and if it did, what would be its relevance?

You tell us, Charlie. But you have already amply demonstrated the point that you do not know.

Still waiting for that apology - or at least a recognition you were wrong as you took a cheap shot at my integrity?

Finding hard to get evidence of winning Civil Service National Chess Championship 1991 - We will have to put that in the 'Take my word for it' category.

You're making it up as you go along, Charlie. If you were not you would have the list at hand. And making things up as you go along is something of a habit.

But as I say, keep 'em coming. Good night .

That's
(a) a rapidplay
(b) a county event.

I wouldn't rank it as an Open in the usually understood sense. A tournament victory certainly, but not an event to rank alongside Blackpool or Scarborough.

Not this guy again - Your opinion on what an Open is has already been demolished. I am starting to lose faith in your comments as having any credibility.

Explain please. You write the claim on the back of books, so it's clearly meant to impress. And so it would if you had run up the same number of victories over the years in the big weekenders as Mark, Keith and going back in time, Julian, Mickey and no doubt others.

I did not come here to prove my awesomeness. I came to offer a solution for Junior Chess in Great Britain - Rather than hindering and trolling, find a way to become a contributor or become an Official Partner of Great Britain Junior Squad Partnered with Chessbase Y

our branding Logo as Official Partners will be ready tomorrow - just applying finishing touches.

Roger - the thread already demolished your incorrect understanding of what an Open is (read it and watch the video link ) is and we can all see when someone moves the goalposts to suit their failed argument.
