I wouldn't want to comment whether that's part of Sniper theory or otherwise.

After 6 bxc3 Nf6, there are more games than you might expect, so it's a main line known to at least some players. The popular moves next are 7 h5 Rg8 which are logical if bizarre. Other than the original Speelman game and a game by Ian Rogers at Gibraltar, I didn't find any British examples.

Since Jon Speelman credits David Norwood (former English Olympiad captain and pizza organiser) I looked further back than Elista 1998... 4... f5 5.Bg5... 1-0 (44) Flear-Norwood 1994 Lloyds Bank.
And... 4... f5 5.h4 Bc3 6.bc Nf6 7.h5 Rg8! (Essential - Speelman) 8.hg hg 9.Nf3 (Qc2 was Bacrot-Speelman 1998) Qa5... Loeffler (2440)-Norwood (2525) 1994 Bundes Liga.
The earliest example of the first 4 moves (each) I found was Razuvaev-Ravikumar 1986 Calcutta, a 12 move draw.

Just for information, Aronian is 'Wunjin' on ICC. I'm not sure who Marioforever is, but it is a GM who has been rated 2900+ on ICC, so slouch either!

I would like to know who Marioforever is if you have that info.

I would also like to know who all British players are on ICC as I seem to be one of the few strong players who has their name logged to the handle!

The Zollner Trophy will be on display for Rd 7 of The Zollner Championship. This is a rare opportunity to see The Zollner Trophy in Public as it is normaly kept in a vault. Of added interest is Gary Murphy vs Charlie Storey as a in for Storey will see 7/7 with all wins coming from a Black or White Sniper. 7:15pm @ Eldon Leisure Chess Club on Tuesday 1st May followed by a socail at The Bacchus Pub for all chess players. Charlie will also have Sniper Master Packs and White Sniper GrandmasterPacks on sale at 20% reduction.

Just to confirm there is no need for a Sniper flatmate as the room has been taken.

I will however be able to put one or 2 players up for the British Chess Championship ( 3 miles from my home - with Sea Views) with Coaching from myself and my flatmate.
