I'd suggest that the sentence above would be more correctly terminated with a question mark.

Hmmm. I wouldn't use one there.

I'd suggest that the sentence above is not a complete sentence.

"I'm not sure..." would be a complete sentence. It's not a question, so a question mark would be a bad move.

The first WCCA Junior tournament was a roaring success here is the website for the results;

It took a lot of planning and promotion but it was worth it to see the smiling happy faces of the kids and the feedback was excellent.

The Newcastle West Jesmond Cafe - Cafe 1901 is now also setup and WCCA will soon be converted to a charity when I get the time!

Hope my spelling is getting a little better!

Nice to see The Troll abuse has decreased dramatically from the Cyber Cowards - I was considering becoming a 'Troll Hunter for Hire' by putting my Computer Forensics Degree to some good use!

At the chess match I was at last night, I saw someone with a freshly purchased copy of Charlie's book! I must admit I had thought the opening and book were legendary, and to see the book for real was quite an experience. The other book was a bit larger (and from my point of view) more interesting. Some big (really big) book about Benko.

Apologies Sabrina it seems my guestimation on my amount of Opens was incorrect - please see below for how many Opens I have actually won and their detail!

It should be noted that it is the awesomeness of The Sniper rather than my deductive & dynamic understand of chaotic positions that helps me win with Black which in turn helps to win Opens.

1 x British Championship Rapidplay Championship 2008
1 x British Championship Blitz Champion 1998
1 x Civil Service National Chess Champion 1991
1 x Scottish Lightning Chess Champion 2001
8 x Tyne & Wear Open Champion 1995-2012 (Approx 8 Times )
4 x Cleveland Open Champion 1995 - 2012 (Approx 4 Times)
3 x Northumberland Zollner Champion 3 Times (I am current 2012 Zollner Champion! - Having played either The Black Sniper or White Sniper in every round!)
15 x Northumberland Lightning Champion 1990 - 2012 (Approx 15 Times)
10 x Newcastle Open Blitz Champion (Approx 10 Times)
13 x Northumberland Rapidplay Champion 1990-2012 (Approx 13 Times)
5 x Hartlepool Open Champion 1990-2012 (Approx 5 Times)
5 x North East Grand Prix Champion 1990-2000 (Approx 5 Times)
20 x Individual North East Rapidplay Open Victories (Approx 20 Times) Heaton, Jesmond, Hexham, Durham, Hartlepool
3 x Grangemouth Open Champion (Approx 3 Times) 1 x Muirhead!
1 x Edinburgh International Open 2010
6 x Durham Open Champion 1990-2012 (Approx 6 Times)
1 x NCCU Champion 1998
1 x London Classic Blitz Open 2009

It seems its 99 Opens which makes me the most successful open player in the United Kingdom unless GM Arkell or maybe GM Hebden can stake a claim! It's the first time I had really thought about it so please excuse my error, however, I did fall in to the humble section with my prediction rather than over ellaborating.

My 100th will be The 2012 British Chess Championship held at the Parks - 3 miles from my home so if I can find some great form it will be great for the WCCA, The Sniper, my Local Junior Clubs and brilliant for chess in general as it shows what can be done from recovering from drug abuse some 20 years ago! That is the Power of God - whom I will dedicate my 100th Open victory too - should it ever happen.
You may support my efforts and learn something useful by downloading my enteratining and informative Sniper video training materials from http://charliechess.com/DownloadWhiteSniper.html wher you can also view the Zollner trophy alluded to by Paul Bielby earlier in the post.
I hope this shows the accurate picture of my eligibilty as The Ulimate Sniper Chief!

Keep up the good work with your Junior Work.

Best

I would also like to know who all British players are on ICC as I seem to be one of the few strong players who has their name logged to the handle!

Here is a short documentary on how to setup a succussful Junior Chess Club.

Chess players play under a handle with no name logged to it so as to try out various new ideas ready for a chess event.
